Reality Strikes!

I had to bring a little insight into my life for anyone who does not personally know me....

See that big slice of cuteness {No, not me ;)}...That man is my lovely hubbs! He's a wonderful man {even though I complain about him more than I should}...He's a great man. To better our family he goes off to work...like off, off. We live in small town NC, and he travels to Texas for MONTHS at a time.... :( 

He will be leaving out Sunday, yes in TWO days to leave us for 4-5 months :(

So YES....Reality hit me like a brick wall today...my better half is going to be gone....FOR MONTHS.....AGAIN!!!!

We do have hopes next year to MOVE to the Longhorn State :) That's my BIG hope, and dream!

BUT, this leaves me to sort of be like a military wife, but I rather call myself a departed wife :) Those of you who do pray, please pray for him while he travels, and while he is away...It would mean the world to me :) 

 A little later I will write posts on him leaving, and how we cope :) 

On both of those notes...I will be traveling to Dallas {My husband has a wonderful cousin in TX named Janet, and I ADORE her} to go to the DOTmom Confrence! I have been following DOTmom for years, and always love their events and messages, and what they stand for!

I'm so excited, particularly because one of my all time favorite bloggers Angie Smith of Bring the Rain will be there! If you are looking for some unbelievable restoring of faith please visit her blog, she is just wonderful! 

 So, I anxiously look forward to attending the conference to bring back with me lots to write about, and many memories!
